  • Where is my TC with those LMs?
  • My phone’s ringing…answer it or ignore? Ummm…voicemail for sure.
  • What color pen should I use today?  Green, Blue, Pink, ORANGE!
  • Did I update my schedule for status?  It’s in 5 minutes…
  • Print status
  • Oh, something shiny…
  • Print status!
  • Is that a shiny paperclip? What does THAT belong to? Everything should be clipped together.
  • Really, where is my TC?
  • Printer down. Shocker. Call IT
  • Why is SHE calling me?  She never calls me. I’ll call her back after status.
  • Seriously, what does that paperclip belong to?
  • What’s the point of having a TC if I need to go get my LMs myself?
  • I have a package upstairs, apparently. Pick it up after status.
  • Why hasn’t the vendor called me back with that schedule? Doesn’t she know I have status in 3 minutes? They’re going to ask. They always ask.
  • I need those LMs for status. Where IS he?
  • The other printer is down, too???!?! Ok, troubleshoot. Use yesterday’s status and write the updates by hand.
  • Why isn’t the vendor picking up? I need the new schedule!
  • WHO REMOVED THIS PAPERCLIP?!
  • Is this coffee from today or yesterday? Oh well, down the hatch.
  • EWWWW! Yesterday. Definitely yesterday.
  • Get coffee after status.
  • Where is my TC?!?!?! I’m about to lose my $^@*# mind!
  • I can TOTALLY straighten this paperclip all the way out…wonder what other shapes I can make?
  • 1 minute till my meeting. Do I have everything?
  • Yes, everything but my LMs. This is ridiculous. Now I have to run around and look for them myself?!
  • Unreal!
  • Oh, wait, what’s that right here on my desk? How long have these been here? Why aren’t they clipped together?
  • (Aloud) Does anyone have a paperclip?

Hilarious! This is so what our days are like, Tara. Really enjoyed reading it. Beyond the frenetic energy, also speaks to the kind of mind that excels in this kind of job. Bravo.
