Mary's marketing career began as Production Manager at a point-of-purchase advertising agency for clients such as Kellogg's, New Balance and Owens Corning. She then moved to a post in strategic procurement at First of America Bank Corporation before moving on to Campbell-Ewald. As their VP of Operations, she worked with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Postal Service, General Motors and Pearle Vision. At Hacker Group, Mary rose from Project Manager to Director of Operations to Vice President, all in less than four years.
